Website intermittent downtime

Resolved - The Figshare website and all client portals suffered intermittent downtime during the 23:18 GMT - 00:02 GMT interval.
The issue was caused by an abnormal number of requests to the website from a few IP addresses in Australia, Germany, Austria and the USA.
The problem was fixed by blocking the offending IP addresses from accessing the Figshare website and client portals.
